I am not that smart. There are others who know so much more than I do. I can’t take pictures like her. I can’t decorate as good as they do. My farm isn’t as aesthetically pleasing as theirs. My hair isn’t as pretty as hers. Of course…we are all different.
I have begun to notice how each blog or social media page is trying to be exactly like that one guys who went viral. If my post is just like theirs then maybe mine will go viral too. Cookie cutter posts are picked up by the algorithm. People look to see what is trending before they post.
I think this sabotages our own creativity. I do not want to have my post, pictures, social media look just like theirs. I want this to be my creative outlet not another stamped cookie cutout of the other guy. On the down side, this does not make for a good recipe for the viral postings that cause me to rise to super influencer fame.
I believe that having our own creative outlet is much more important than a few short years as an influencer. Be creative, be yourself.
